the house
Claudia house is an old satately large house of S. XVI, constructed on dependencies of the medieval castle, of which it has conserved in his interior; two windows with poyatas of stone and rest of the old construction palaciega. The house has been belonging to the family of Jose Manuel (one of its proprietors) for more than two centuries and in her it was born. This sentimental reason together with the historical and artistic value of the house, is what it has motivated to Pilar and Jose Manuel, his present proprietors, to the restoration of the house, putting in her an enormous affection, fervor and meticulousness. This affection is appraised in all the house, in its ample chestnut tree wood stairs, in the stucco of its walls, the caissoned ceiling of its ceilings, the serranos embroiderings that dress their walls, in the homemade utensils and of farming... Getting all it to constitute an authentic etnológico museum of the life and serranas customs. |
