| The peculiar characteristics of this enclave make this place an outstanding one for the practice of paragliding and climbing apart from having just 15 minutes driving away three marshes where you can do aquatic sports activities. The mountains of the Abdalajís Valley are internationally known among the paragliding lovers as one of the best places in all Europe for the practice of this sport during winter season. From the month of October, the arrival of hang-gliding people is already a tradition in the area.
In the Chorro you can also find the Caminito Del Rey Alfonso XIII as well as the Ruinas de Bobastro and very close to this, in Ardales, you can find the Cueva de Trinidad Grund which is well known due to the quality of its cave paintings. You can also find three reservoirs which provide the region with a variety of beautiful places to enjoy the direct contact with nature. Nearby, we have Álora with its Arabic fortitude and some miles away we find Antequera, with all the wealth of its monuments; and also, cities such as Málaga, Córdoba, Sevilla or Granada which are about more than a hour by car. |
