The Sagrada Family, the most emblematic building of Barcelona, is the most ambitious work of Gaudí architect.
This it conceived a great body with three facades, allusive to the Natividad, Pasio'n and Gloria de Christ, twelve towers that represent the Apostles, a central tower with four towers representing Christ and the evangelistas and a absidial tower that would represent the Virgin.
Gaudí did not leave a project definitive, reason why the controversy as far as the completion of the building is always alive. At the moment the facade of the Natividad, finished in 1904 can be seen, that is the part more finished of the work of Gaudí and the facade of the Passion that was finished in years 80 with sculptures of Subirachs.
It can rise one of the towers by a spiral staircase.
Cripta contains a great scale model of the church and the tomb of Gaudí, that died in 1926 run over by a street car.
