| The town of Gérone was always an important center of communications because of the many Roman passages between France and Spain. The city medieval is one of most beautiful of Spain and has picturesque old working with a very important Jewish community. With a population of 70.400 inhabitants, Gérone has a long historical past thanks to which it was named the city with the thousand occupations. Its ramparts were ibères, Roman and then medieval. |

Museum installed in the episcopal palace, presents/displays a complete exhibition of the art in Gerona, as of the Roman time. In the room of the throne splendid altarpieces of artists of century XV like Jean de Bourgogne, Bernat Martorell and Luís Borrassà are exposed. At the time of their construction eight sarcófagos of paleocristiano period are discovered finely (in the foundations of the future building) engravings. "Banys Àrabs" *. Monastery Sant Pere de Galligants *.
Its church was fortified several times and its bell tower was used like observation tower. To the interior of this Roman church is the archaeological museum of Gerona with vestiges of the old city. "House Museu Castell Gala-Dalì" *.
is an old castle of century XIV, formerly property of Barons de Púbol; Salvador Dalí offers it to his wife in 1970. A completely surrealista decoration accompanies to us throughout its visit. The room of blazons has immense a fresh air of Dalí that decorates all the ceiling. The visit of room 7 prevails, where we can admire the exhibition of dresses in full dress created by famous artists like: Christian Dior, Chanel, Pierre Cardín and the same Dalí.
