Coexistence and point of contact of the Ebro river and the Mediterranean Sea, between different cultures. The fact that the Ebro was the natural entrance from the Mediterranean towards the interior of the peninsula has turned it city of step and confluence during most of its history. The intense commercial and military activity of the seaports and fluvial of the city has been its economic motor. Sarracenos, Jews and Christians coexisted during time in this city, which allows us to follow the tracks of these towns that have inhabited it during centuries and that have left the inheritance of a rich historical-artistic patrimony. The castle of Sweats It, the Episcopal Palace, the cathedral of Santa Maria, the Real Schools, call or judería, the walled enclosure and the modernismo are some of the attractiveness which the visitor can enjoy during his stay in our city.
