Banyoles
City located to the borders of the Banyoles lake, where important nautical competitions practice.
Banyoles has a monastery of neoclassic style and a market very animated all Wednesdays on the Greater seat.
Far from the lake we did not find the church of Santa Maria de Porqueres, of century XIII, constituted of a single ship and a Abside with sculptures of very peculiar personages.
Not to forget to visit the "Museu Local Arqueologic" and its exhibitions of vestiges like the "jaw of Banyoles" of inferior the Paleolítico period.

Besalù .
The locality of Besalú was, between centuries XI and XII, the capital of an independent county. It also has an old center of the Roman time like a beautiful bridge fortified on the Fluviá river. We advised the visit of its Roman church of Sant Pere, the church Sant Vicenç (century XII and XIII) and the Llaudes House with its pretty Roman patio.
Castellfollit of the Roca.(to 8 km by N 260 towards the West)
Located to the interior of the Natural Park of the volcanic zone of the Garrotxa, the town of Castellfollit conserves, around the church San Salvador, interesting constructions of medieval origin.
We can delight with the different strolls between surprising volcanic reliefs that offer exceptional a natural frame.
Olot .
Of agricultural and artisan tradition, the city of Olot this located between several volcanos and is well-known by its bovine markets and their catholic production of statues and images. In addition to the church of Sant Esteve of century XVIII, we can visit the "Local Museu of the Garrotxa"con its collection of pictures and drawings of Catalan artists of centuries XIX and XX.
